Made in Dream

A cool commercial (a 15 second clip and a 30 second one) featuring the new E5 series which is described as the super express of dreams for the 21st century (２１世紀の夢の超特急).

Hayabusa debut

With the completion of the Tōhoku Shinkansen JR East has introduced the E5-series which will be used as new Hayabusa-services making the run Tokyo -  Shin-Aomori in as little as 3 hours and 10 minutes and reaching a top-speed of 300 km/h.

JR East has been airing a commercial for the completion of the Tōhoku Shinkansen which opened in full length December 4 2010 with the extension between Hachinohe and Shin-Aomori.

On March 12 2011 the remaing part of the Kyūshū Shinkansen (Hakata-Shin-Yatsushiro) opened for service.
